Nigerian music icon D’banj has expressed his gratitude to his former business partner and producer, Don Jazzy, for his significant contribution to his successful music career. While sharing a video of his visit to Don Jazzy, where he extended an invitation to his 20-year anniversary dinner, D’banj reflected on their nostalgic journey and the milestones they achieved together.
D’banj and Don Jazzy co-founded Mo’Hits Records in 2004, which became a prominent label in the Nigerian music industry. Although the label disbanded in 2012 due to creative differences, their legacy endures. Don Jazzy went on to establish Mavins Record Label, while D’banj founded DB Record Label.
In his heartfelt tribute, D’banj emphasized that his 20-year journey in the music industry would be incomplete without acknowledging Don Jazzy’s impact. He expressed his appreciation for their brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support over the years.
