Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has revealed that Nigerian singer Davido’s tracks are his go-to music to prepare for professional games. In a video shared on Bundesliga’s social media pages, Davies listed his top five pre-game songs, with two Davido tracks making the cut.
Davies named “Legend Can Never Die” and “No Competition” as his fourth and fifth choices, respectively, alongside “Nonstop” by Drake, “Fein” by Travis Scott, and “Tombstone” by Rod Wave.
This isn’t the first time a high-profile footballer has endorsed Davido’s music. Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni recently revealed that he started listening to Davido at the age of 10 and considers him his favorite African artist. Tchouameni even named “Kante” by Davido featuring Fave as his all-time favorite Afrobeats song.
