Davido Remembers Late Mother as a “Baddie”

Afrobeats superstar Davido has paid tribute to his late mother, Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke, calling her a “baddie” in a recent Instagram post. Sharing a photo of his mother in her academic regalia, Davido celebrated her memory and legacy.

Veronica Adeleke, a lecturer at Babcock University, passed away on March 6, 2003, at the age of 39. She was a founding member of the band ‘Davido’s Band’ and inspired her son’s music career. Davido has named his two daughters, Imade and Hailey, after her.
