Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted to the arrest of his fellow artists, Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda.
The Ugandan Police explained that singers, ‘Omah Lay’ and ‘Tems’ were arrested for breaking Corona Virus regulations during an unsanctioned concert in the capital city, Kampala.
This much was revealed in a statement on Sunday via the official Facebook handle of the Police Force.

The Public Relations Officer of the Kampala Metropolitan Police, Patrick Onyango, further revealed that three Ugandan police officers were also arrested for enabling event planners host the show.
“Nine people have been arrested in connection with the unauthorized concert held last night in Ddungu Resort, Munyononyo, Kampala,” the statement read.
In reaction to their prosecution, Davido took to social media to call out the country’s police force.
Davido tweeted: “Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!,”
Meanwhile, Tyler Perry has reportedly donated $100,000 towards the legal defense of Kenneth Walker, the boyfriend of Breonna Taylor.
Breonna, 26, was shot and killed in her own apartment by Louisville police officers during a failed raid back in March.
