Famous Afrobeat musician Davido has expressed his admiration for his father, Adedeji Adeleke, following a generous donation of N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.
The donation was made on Sunday to the church’s Centenary Endowment Fund in memory of Davido’s late grandmother, Esther Adeleke, during her remembrance service at the church’s headquarters in Lagos.
Reacting to the trending video of the event, Davido commented on Tunde Ednut’s Instagram, highlighting his father’s passion for supporting the church and education. He wrote, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”
Additionally, Davido took to his Instagram story to share his admiration, stating, “My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
The event was attended by notable figures including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu, among others.
