Davido’s newest album, Timeless, becomes the first ever African album to gather the most streams on the first day of release.
This was revealed on Apple Music’s official page as they confirmed that the artist’s album broke global record and garnered the most streams according to statistics on their DSP.

On the first day of release of Timeless on the 31st of March, the album topped on the charts, filling up from number 1 to 17 with the entire 17-tracks off the album.

Also, on the first day, it was confirmed to have gotten over 100million streams on Spotify.
Davido’s comeback with Timeless in the music scene has spread far in the global music space and is now breaking records.
