The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has described Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as Nigeria’s “greatest export to the world”.
He said this in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Adesina, who shared a recent photo-op with the billionaire businessman, said, “WITH OUR GREATEST EXPORT TO THE WORLD…Who else, but Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President, Dangote Industries Limited. Glad he’s a Nigerian.”
The presidential aide’s comment came two days after Dangote’s multi-billion dollar refinery and petrochemical company was commissioned in Lagos by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) integrated refinery project sits on 2,635 hectares of land located in the Lekki free zone, and will employ over 100,000 persons directly.
