Dangote retains position as Africa’s Richest Man (See Full list)

Aliko Dangote has retained his spot as the richest man in Africa following a survey conducted by Business magazine, Forbes.

Dangote who generates his revenue from oil and gas, manufacturing cement and producing flour, sugar and salt has been crowned Africa’s richest man for the ninth time in a row.

With a net worth of $10.1 billion, Dangote beat Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris whose net worth is $8 billion. Another Nigerian Mike Adenuga who owns Conoil and Glo telecommunications tied at the third position with South Africa’s Nicky Oppenheimer with a net worth of $7.7 billion.
