Ibiyeomie and Daddy Freeze

Personal Assistant on Social Media to the President, Lauretta Onochie has charged the police to invite Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie for questioning over threats directed at a broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze.

In a well-circulated video, the pastor had called the religious critic a “bastard” and promised to deal with him for daring to criticise Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, whom Ibiyeomie described as his spiritual father.

Many Nigerians had taken to social media to berate Ibiyeomie over the video, but Onochie took it a bit further, calling for a police investigation.

She took to Twitter to make the demand on Friday.

The presidential aide described the pastor’s action as “evil”.

“THIS IS EVIL. I am a Christian. I have been watching this absurdity for days now, looking for any attribute of Christ in it. I haven’t seen any.

“Among others, threatening to kill someone is a crime. I’m not sure if this requires a petition to the @PoliceNG before they act. EVIL!” Onochie stated.
