Nigerian female dancehall sensation, Cynthia Morgan who now goes by the name Madrina, has returned with another exciting new single titled “Hustle”, after a long unpredicted break from the music scene.
The hit track was crafted by award-winning Nigerian producer Malcom Olagundoye, popularly known as Chopstix. He has been known to work with top Nigerian artistes such as Olamide, Ice Prince, Young L, Endia etc, producing top hits that shock the entertainment industry both locally and on the foreign scene.
Hustle is now available on all online streaming platforms which includes, iTunes, Youtube, Apple Music and Spotify
Popular for her unique style of dancehall, rap and Afro beats fusion, Morgan was off the music scene for several years.
Discussing with fans in an Instagram live video, the dancehall princess revealed why her music career took a nosedive abruptly.
The 29-year-old self-acclaimed queen of dancehall music, disclosed how she developed health challenges to the point that she had to leave Lagos and travel back to her home town in Benin, to seek medical attention.
After regaining her health, Morgan was unable return to Lagos due to financial constraints as she had committed her resources into getting medical attention.
The dancehall princess disclosed that her professional ordeal was owing to the fact that certain clauses in the agreement she signed with North Side Music Ltd – her former label management where brother of music duo Psquare – Jude Okoye was the music producer.
Before her predicament, Morgan roared onto the music scene with her smash hit single I’m Taken. She didn’t stop there, the artiste went onto to release great songs which rocked the airwaves. Some of them include German Juice, Lead Me On, Billion Dollar Woman.
