Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, has described his critics as faceless and shameless men who need deliverance from God.
The prominent cleric stated this on Saturday in an interview with The Punch, in Warri, Delta State, from where he oversees the Word of Life Bible Church.
Oritsejafor, the former National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, also said he left the body with N600 million in its account and built a secretariat that was almost completed before his departure.
Furthermore, he said he secured a piece of land on which was built a 4-star hotel for the Christian Association of Nigeria.
While berating his critics for failing to notice his achievements, he said he would pray to God for their forgiveness.
He stated: “My critics are faceless, shameless and they need deliverance. By the grace of God, I have made myself available to do the will of God and not to listen to shameless detractors.”
Oritsejafor has been criticised in recent past by many prominent Nigerian clerics for mingling with those in the corridors of power, the latest criticism coming from respected Catholic priest and former CAN president, Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie.
