Widespread criticism has greeted the billions of naira budgeted for a presidential yacht in the N2.1 trillion supplementary budget submitted by President Bola Tinubu to the National Assembly.
The Herald reports that part of the expenditures proposed in the 2023 supplementary budget the president submitted to the National Assembly for approval included a proposal to spend N5.095 billion on a presidential yacht.
As of the time of filing this reports, The Herald understands that the budget has already scaled the second reading at the House of Representatives.
