Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape accuser has demanded a large sum of £56million from the footballer for damages.
Former model, Kathryn Mayorga who has accused Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo of rape is claiming £56million in damages with the Sun reporting that this is the total amount she is seeking from the football legend.
This comes after Mayorga had accused Ronaldo of sexually assaulting her in an hotel room in Las Vegas back in 2009 after meeting him on a night out when she was 25-years-old, though the Portugal skipper has vehemently denied the allegation.
As per the report, the 37-year-old is seeking £18m for “past pain and suffering”, £18m for “future pain and suffering” and £18m in punitive damages. Her expenses have come to £1.4m, which includes legal fees of £1.1m.
In 2010, Mayorga had accepted $375,000 – £270,000 which was part of an out-of-court non-disclosure settlement, however she filed a civil lawsuit in Las Vegas saying she had been “mentally incapacitated” when she agreed to it three years back.

Ronaldo has consistently denied the allegations, claiming that rape is something that is abominable and that the people involved are using his name to promote themselves.
“I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me. Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense,” he said in the past.
