COVID-19 Was Made to Shorten People’s Lifestyle – Yahaya Bello

2 Min Read

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi has claimed that COVID-19 was introduced into Nigeria to shorten the lifestyle of its people.

He said further that Nigerians have been forced to accept the virus while speaking at the funeral prayers for the late Chief Judge of the State, Nasir Ajana who died of COVID-19.

The late Chief Judge died at the COVID-19 treatment and isolation centre at Gwagwalada Abuja on Sunday.

Yahaya Bello told people at the funeral not to accept what he called copy and paste COVID-19 because nothing kills faster than fear.

“Whether medical experts and scientists believe it or not, COVID-19 is out to shorten the lifestyle of the people, it is a disease propagated by force for Nigerians to accept.”

“COVID-9 is only out to create fear, panic – orchestrated to reduce and shorten the lifespan of the people.”

Governor Yahaya Bello and members of his government has disputed with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), that there was no case of COVID-19 in the state.

The agency also accused the Governor of falsifying COVID-19 test results in the state and in some cases refusing access to NCDC officials to conduct tests.

However, the chief Imam for the Lokoja Central Mosque died of the virus. The Governor also lost his Chief Judge alongside an aide within the last two weeks.

The State Government thereafter announced on Monday that it has partnered with the United States Centres for Disease Control (CDC), to set up a reference molecular laboratory for COVID-19 tests in the state.
