Ten Staff members of the Lagos State Government House Marina, were taken into isolation on May 7.

Sanwo-olu said the status of the affected staff members was made public for the sake of transparency.

“I’m sure you didn’t even transparently commend us because we wanted to be transparent, that’s why and that’s the only way we can keep it,” he said.

“They are back here if I must say to you. They’ve been there, and they’ve been treated and they’ve done well and they’re back at their duty posts and I’m indeed happy that all of them are back working with me and I’m excited about that.”

Sanwo-olu thereafter commended Lagosians for their level of compliance to rules guiding the opening of open as well as food markets.
He expressed optimism that the state government will relax the phased Lockdown more so that more businesses can re-open.

The Lagos state governor however knocked residents on the head for their low level of compliance with the wearing of face masks in public as well as flouting of public health rules by commercial buses and passengers.

He said non-compliance will lead to the re-imposition of a total lockdown.
