This was revealed by State Governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear at a press conference on Tuesday.

According to the Governor, the individual tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a coronavirus party somewhere in the state.

“We have a positive test from someone who attended a coronavirus party. We ought to be much better than that.” Beshear said to journalists at the briefing.

He informed journalists further that the party had attracted a number of young people in their 20’s who had the mindset that they were invincible and immune to Covid-19.

Beshear warned that although young people may not feel the serious symptoms of the virus, they could help spread the virus much faster among the general population.

“For those folks who thought, ‘We’d be all right if we got it,’ what about everybody else you’ve seen? We need everybody doing the right thing.” He said.

The Governor also revealed that 163 people have been infected with Coronavirus so far in the state with 39 new cases confirmed on Monday.

The number of confirmed cases in the United States stood at 55, 231 on Tuesday.
