An Ikeja Magistrates` Court on Tuesday ordered that a teenager, Rasheed Rilwan, charged with alleged armed robbery, be remanded in Kirikiri Correctional centre, pending legal advice.

The police charged Rilwan, who resides in Odogunyan in Ikorodu, with two counts of armed robbery and being in possession of dangerous weapons.
Magistrate M.O Tanimola, who did not take the plea of Rilwan, ordered the police to send the case file to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal advice.
The magistrate adjourned the case until Oct. 6 for mention., committed the offences on June 7, at Ikorodu, Lagos.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Victor Eruada, told the court that Rilwan and others at large, committed the offence on June 7, at Ikorodu, Lagos.
He said that Rilwan and his accomplices, while armed with knives, robbed Mr Akeem Eyiola of his phone valued at N35,000 .
The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 297 and 299 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
