Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley,is a Nigerian musician who has been standing trial over an alleged criminal conspiracy
and credit card fraud.

The trial of the musician continued at the Federal High court Lagos, on Thursday, 12th of December,2019.
The first prosecution witness identified as Dalhatu Nuru Buhari was cross-examined by Naira Marley’s counsel Olalekan Ojo (SAN).
When asked how he accessed the Laptop without the owner’s password, Buhari replied that as a cybercrime hacker, he doesn’t need to
know the password of anybody by standards of his training and that cyber security training was available to anyone.
“ It is not possible for just any expert in cyber security to access a computer and do anything he likes on it.
“This is because there are various aspects in cyber security and not all the tools used in cyber security are accessible to all the various
aspects.” Buhari added when asked if any expert in cyber security could access a computer and do what he likes on it in relation to the
credit card details that were allegedly found on the defendant’s computer.
The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) statement added that their witness concluded his testimony by affirming that
only the investigator could determine if the cards were fraudulently used.

Justice Oweibo of the Federal High Court later adjourned further trial to February 27 and 28, 2020.
Recall that Naira Marley is being prosecuted by the EFCC on an 11-count charge of conspiracy, possession of counterfeit cards and fraud
which he pleaded not guilty to.
He was granted a N2m bail with two sureties in like sum.
