Philippe Coutinho would find it difficult to fit into Barcelona’s starting-line up should he move to the Nou Camp this summer, says Spanish football expert Terry Gibson.
The Liverpool forward has been consistently linked with a move to Barcelona, with one Catalan newspaper even claiming an agreement had already been reached between the Spanish club and the player.
However, Gibson said he is struggling to see where the Brazil international would fit in alongside
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and international team-mate Neymar.
“I struggle to see where Coutinho would fit into the Barcelona side,” Gibson said.
“I can only assume it would be on the right side of the attack.
“He’s not going to play in the free role where Lionel Messi wants to play. You would have Neymar on the left, Suarez up front with Messi just behind and Coutinho on the right.
