There has been a fire incident at the Headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, in Abuja on Wednesday.
Reports claim that the fire incident occured on Wednesday morning at the CAC seven-storey building in Maitama, Abuja.
The incident was confirmed to the PUNCH by the Registrar-General of the CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar.
He disclosed that men of the Federal Fire Service were immediately mobilised to put out the fire when the outbreak was spotted, and that no lives or lives were lost.
He said;
“There was a minor fire incident at the CAC today (Wednesday) which was quickly extinguished by the men of the fire service.
“However, there was no loss of document or lives.”

A fire outbreak had erupted at the office of the nation’s Accountant-General razing leaving many important offices and documents in ruins.
According to The Nation, the fire which started from the 3rd floor continued to burn down other offices in an upward motion.
Part of the offices razed includes that of Ahmed Idris, Accountant-General of the federation.
