Congo Democratic Republic has won its second trophy of the African Nations Championship.
The national team beat Mali in the finals in Rwanda today, 3-0, with a brace by Elia Meschak in the 29th and 62nd minute and a third goal by Jonathan Bolingi in the 73rd minute.
Congo DR also won the maiden edition in 2009, which was held in Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast clinched third place at the ongoing Chan 2016 following a 2-1 win over Guinea on Sunday afternoon at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
