Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai’s official car was involved in an accident in the Jere area of Kaduna State, Nigeria
According to The Punch, the accident happened around 6pm and it was because a car went off its lane and crashed into Buratai’s car.
The COAS’ aide-de-camp was in the car however and sustained some injuries, although, the COAS was not in the car at the time.

The aide was then rushed to the hospital to receive treatment
The army took to its Twitter page to disclose details about the accident.
The page said: “The COAS’ official car had an accident in Jere on the way to Kaduna State on Sunday around 6pm. The staff car was in a convoy along with other vehicles when a lone civilian vehicle veered off its lane and rammed into the staff car.
“The COAS was not in the car. However, the ADC sustained minor injuries and has been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.”
