Barcelona confirmed their dominance in world football with an emphatic 3-0 win over Argentine club, River Plate in the final of the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup played in Yokohama, Japan, on Sunday.
A first half goal by Lionel Messi and two either side of the break by Uruguayan, Luis Suarez ensured that the Catalan club won the trophy last won by bitter rivals, Real Madrid.
The team also swept all the individual awards on display at the tournament and the Fair Play Team of the tournament award.
While Luis Suarez was given the Golden Ball award for scoring five goals in two games as well as the Ali Baba E-Auto award , Lionel Messi won the Silver Ball and Andres Iniesta the Bronze Ball.
