After the release of his debut album, Sad Romance, in September 23, 2022, Ckay has kickstarted his campus tour which he has tagged ‘Boyfriend Tour’.
His first stop with the start of his Boyfriend Tour was the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), where he will go ahead and tour other universities such as UI, OOU, UNIZIK, UNILAG,UNICAL, UNN, and others.
The campus tour is sponsored by HP and other organizations such as Trace, The Plug, and more.
The artist took a blow in the Nigerian music scene following his viral hit song, Container, where after, the artist plunged into a different genre of music which he has carved to be tagged Afro-emo. Between 2020 – 2021, the artist’s older single, Love Nwantiti became a viral hit song that spread outside Africa and various remixes were released right after.
