Some monarchs in Anambra under the aegis of the Association of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria have met with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in a bid to resolve the lingering crisis between herders and farmer.
According to a statement released after the meeting, the Chairman and Secretary of the Association of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, Eze Nkeli Kelly and King Dodo II, the group noted that the meeting was fruitful and encouraging.

“The association in collaboration with the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria is meeting to find a lasting solution to end the herders/farmers’ clashes all over the country,” the statement read in part.
“We also advised all monarchs to educate youths in their areas and other subjects to be law-abiding and shun any form of violence.”
