Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan may still be settling in at the Catalan club, but a big money move is believed to be in the offing to pry him from the club.
Barcelona signed the former Atletico Madrid man last season but he could not make his debut for the Azulgranas until this January following a restriction on registering new players occasioned by the transfer ban.
However, Chinese Super League side, Beijing Guoan, are believed to be lining up a €100 million, 5-year contract for the Turk.
Though unlikely, but if the deal succeeds, Turan will be joining a host of other super stars who have made the switch from Europe to the Far East this season.
He will be joining the likes of Jackson Martinez, Gervinho, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Ramirez.
Beijing Guoan, who placed third in the Chinese Super League last season, have also signed another Turk, Burak Yilmaz.
Another Chinese club is also believed to be interested in Barcelona’s Brazilian left-back Dani Alves, who has a subsisting contract that runs until 2017.
A host of Chinese clubs appear to be trying to bolster their team before the closing of the transfer window on February 26th.
