Chicago State University: Atiku holds World Press Conference on Tinubu’s certificate today

The 2023 presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will today address a World Press Conference, a few days after obtaining President Bola Tinubu’s academic records from the Chicago State University (CSU) in the United States.

A copy of the press invitation extended to journalists read, “This is to inform and invite you to the World Press Conference of Our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, at the Yar’Adua Centre, Tomorrow, Thursday 5, October 2023, in the afternoon.

“The exact time will be communicated shortly. Please endeavor to attend. Thank You.”

Atiku had approached the United States Court for the Northern District of Illinois to compel the university to release Tinubu’s academic records, arguing that it would boost his suit challenging the president’s election in the February 25 poll.

The Herald can report that Atiku, who lost at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, is approaching the Supreme Court to seek Tinubu’s disqualification on the grounds that the president forged a certificate he claimed to have obtained from CSU in 1979 and submitted to Nigeria’s electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the 2023 presidential election.
