Former Chelsea defender, Ashley Cole is anticipating the Chelsea vs Barcelona game like the rest of the world, admitting that he missed “those Champions League nights”.
Cole played as a left-back for Chelsea from 2006 to 2014, winning a Champions League in 2012.
The 37-year-old Englishman, who now plays for Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS, expressed his excitement at the chance of watching both teams play and urged the Chelsea players to get the job done against the Spanish giants.
He made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday evening.
He tweeted: “So excited for the Chelsea vs Barcelona game later and I’m not even playing 😂 miss those champions league nights @ChelseaFC come on boys 💙”
