Chelsea’s £40 million Midfield signing, Tiemoue Bakayoko, was involved in a car crash while leaving training.
It was reported that the accident took place around 3:30 p.m. BST near the Premier League champions’ Cobham training complex in Surrey on Wednesday.
It was also reported that Bakayoko sustained no injuries from the accident and is safe and sound.
Bakayoko who joined the league Champions in July has been limited to just 3 appearances for them so far due to an existing knee condition.
He did start against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao cup and before the game, head coach Antonio Conte said of Bakayoko: “He is playing very well. Don’t forget last season he finished the season with surgery in his knee. Now he is in a good physical condition.
“He is starting to adapt himself in our style of football. I am pleased because I think these are good signs for us.”
