English football league side Chelsea were at the receiving end of a 3-0 thrashing by Barcelona, who won the UEFA Youth League final in Nyon Switzerland on Monday night.
Chelsea’s U-19 and Barcelona’s Juvenile A sides clashed in the final.
The two teams have both won the five-year-old competition two times each, with Barcelona’s other title win in 2014 and Chelsea clinching back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016.
Salzburg won the 2017 edition of the competition.
Barcelona’s 17-year-old Venezuelan forward Alejandro Marques scored in each half, and Abel Ruiz added a third in stoppage time.
