Chelsea are lining up AC Milan’s goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma as replacement for Thibaut Courtois.
Courtois is refusing to sign a contract extension at the club despite having just a year left on his contract.
With his contract set to expire by 2019 and Real Madrid expressing interest in the 25-year-old Belgian, this is the last season Chelsea have to cash in on him before he becomes a free agent.
Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola is also said to have fallen out of favour with the AC Milan hierarchy, making Donnarumma’s exit from the club more likely by the day.
The 19-year-old highly-rated goalkeeper has been Milan’s first choice since the age of 16 and is considered a decent replacement for Courtois.
Amid interest from Madrid, Courtois is also linked with Paris Saint-Germain, speculations that have been denied by his representatives.
