Chelsea’s most decorated defender John Terry has refused to hang up his boots and is instead on the verge of making a very brave move to Russia.
The defender whose contract with Aston Villa expired has opted to move to Spartak Moscow where he would most likely end his career.

Terry had been linked with several moves including staying at Villa where he says he has unfinished business.
“I loved my time at Aston Villa,” he said to the Daily Mail, “I am still devastated that we didn’t go up.
“The manager, players and supporters were incredible with me but I hate losing and I feel there is unfinished business there.
“Steve Bruce is a great man and with the backing of the new owners, Steve will hopefully get the club back into the Premier League.”
Terry added: “Don’t get me wrong, if I don’t play again I am content with what has been an unbelievable career, but I’m still hungry to go and play if everything around it is right. If it’s right for me and my family.”
He could very well line up against former England teammate Steven Gerard who is now the manager of Rangers and whom they’ve been drawn against in the Europa League.
