The English FA has fined Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte £8,000 after he was dismissed in the hard-fought 1-0 win over Swansea.
The Blues defeated the struggling South Wales side on November 29 but it came at a prize as Italian boss Conte saw red for a touchline rant directed at match officials.
Conte blasted fourth official Lee Mason following the referee’s failure to award what appeared a clear corner to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues boss had apologised after the game but it seemed the FA would have none of it. The FA had charged him last week before deciding to impose the fine.
A curt statement by the FA released on Wednesday said that the manager would be expected to pay £8,000 fine for his conduct during the game.
