Bishop Mathew Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese has said that Nigerians should give President Muhammadu Buhari a chance, and not blame the president.
The bishop further stated that Nigeria does not need restructuring, however Nigerians need restructuring.
The founder of the Kukah centre made this known in a news conference in Abuja on Thursday, June 9, ahead of the Fixing Nigeria Initiative.
Kukah, who expressed optimism that things would change for the better urged the federal government to conceive a vision of long and short term plan.
“We must all collectively push forward. This is not the time to blame President Buhari. I think the President should be given a chance.
“I am convinced that there are good days ahead. But how the government communicates hope to the people is critical and what is lacking so far,” he said.
