The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, during a special town hall meeting organized by the ministry in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the National Institute, AANI, held in Abuja on Tuesday said some Nigerians have made a hobby out of castigating the President, Muhammadu Buhari over the current economic conditions experienced in the country.
He said: “At a time that some individuals and groups have made it their pastime to continually castigate government over an economic situation which is not its own making, but has been working hard to mitigate, this Association has chosen instead to engage with the government”.
Nigerians have however reacted too the comment by the Information minister as some made to remind him that he also was a staunch opposition to the previous administration under the leadership of former president Goodluck Jonathan.
