A former Olympic decathlete who chose to become a transgender, Caityln Jenner, has revealed that she is considering running for a political office in the United States senate.
The transgender who earlier in the year underwent a sex reassignment surgery revealed that her passion for the consideration is fueled by her drive to protect LGBT rights and promote its issues.
The transgender who will be running for the US senate from California on a Republican ticket should she choose to go through with her plans will challenge the re-election of Democrat’s Dianne Feinstein next year.
Speaking on the likelihood of hatching her plans, the transgender and Kardashian patriarch while speaking to John Catsimatidis on the radio on Sunday said she was weighing her options of effecting a change from a political office or outside.
She said: “I have considered it. I like the political side of it.”
“The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Can I do a better job from the outside?
“Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to, you know, talk to anybody? Or are you better off from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that.
“And yeah, but I would look for a senatorial run.”
