Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall’ Tops Chart For 2020 Most Streamed Album On Spotify

Burna boy’s ‘Twice as Tall’ has emerged as the number one Nigerian album on Spotify in 2020.

 

Burna boy secured the number one spot as the most-streamed Nigerian album on Spotify in 2020 with over 64 million streams.

 

This comes as another win for the African Giant as his album was also nominated for a Grammy award for the second time in a row.

 

According to the streaming giant, Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ secured the 2nd position, while Tiwa Savage’s Celia came in 3rd.

 

Omah Lay’s Get Lay’d album came 4th on the chart with 10 million streams while Adekunle Gold’s, Afropop Vol 1 ranked 5th with 9.6 million streams.

Also, Fireboy’s Apollo album ranked 8th on the chart with 7.93 streams. Also, Kizz Daniel’s King of Love album ranked 9th with 7.69 million streams and Niniola’s Colours & Sound album is the 10th most-streamed album in Nigeria this year with 7.61 million streams.

 

Meanwhile, American Rapper and songwriter, Travis Scott is reportedly set to earn over $100 million this year, according to Forbes.

The 28-year old millionaire was recently featured in the Forbes ’30 Under 30′ edition where Forbes made it known that Travis Scott’s deal with McDonald’s earned him a whooping sum of $20 million, out of which $5 million emerged from the standard endorsement contract and $15 million from merchandise.

 

It was also stated that Travis Scott gained full rights of the contract in addition to his contributory ideas for the merchandise.
