Nigerian singer Burna Boy has called on Nigerians to cease comparing him to the late Afrobeat founder and activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. In response to these criticisms, Burna Boy made it clear that he is not Fela and that such comparisons should end. “All that Burna Boy and Fela talk needs to die now. I’m not Fela, I’m BIG7,” he wrote on his Instastory. He stressed that while he advocates for positivity, peace, and prosperity, he would rather kill than die for Nigerians.
