Grammy-winning Afrobeats sensation, Burna Boy, is set to return to the prestigious Wireless Festival 2025, marking his third appearance at the global music event.

The “Odogwu” crooner will take the stage on the festival’s final night, sharing the spotlight with reggae legend Vybz Kartel and Canadian superstar Drake. The three-day event, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will run from July 11 to July 13 at Finsbury Park, London.

Drake will headline all three nights, delivering different setlists for each performance. Other notable acts confirmed for the festival include PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, and “The Mandem,” with more names expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Burna Boy first graced the Wireless Festival stage in 2020 and made a triumphant return in 2022. His upcoming performance further cements his position as one of the most sought-after African artists in the world.

Over the years, several Nigerian superstars, including D’Banj, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Asake, Shallipopi, and Ruger, have represented Afrobeats at the festival. Burna Boy’s return highlights the genre’s increasing dominance on the international music scene.

Drake, last headlining the festival in 2014, has built a strong connection with Wireless over the years. In 2018, he made a surprise appearance alongside UK rapper Giggs, stepping in for DJ Khaled, who had to cancel due to travel issues. His return for the 20th-anniversary edition is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the event.
