Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has claimed the top spot as the most streamed Sub-Saharan African artiste on YouTube.
Burna Boy has now accumulated an impressive 2.52 billion streams on the platform, surpassing Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platnumz, who held the position previously with 2.37 billion streams.
Following closely behind Burna Boy is Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, securing the third position with a commendable 1.83 billion streams on YouTube. The top five Sub-Saharan African artistes also include Congolese legend Fally Ipupa (1.61 billion streams) and Nigerian hitmaker Davido (1.50 billion streams).
The list extends to showcase the dominance of Nigerian talent, with Rema (1.41 billion streams), CKay (1.30 billion streams), Flavour (1.19 billion streams), P Square (1.14 billion streams), and Tekno (1.01 billion streams) rounding out the top ten.
