Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy came into lime-light in 2012 after releasing the lead single “Like to Party” from his debut studio album, L.I.F.E (2013).
The afro singer was signed by Aristokrat Record Label in the year 2013 after he released his studio debut album, ‘L.I.F.E’ the album sold 40,000 on the first day of its release.

Burna Boy was one of the artistes who scored the most nominations for 2019 AFRIMA awards.
In the cause of the xenophobic attacks in South Africa, Burna also took to his twitter handle to comment and he also explained how he was a victim of a xenophobic attack, why he has refused to go to South Africa in the last two years.
