Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has achieved a remarkable milestone in the music industry, becoming the Nigerian artist with the most charting songs in US Billboard Hot 100 history.
According to the latest Billboard charts, Burna Boy’s collaboration with Cold Play, LittleSimz, Elyanna, and TiniStoessel on “We Pray” debuted at No. 87, increasing his total entries on the chart to six.
This feat surpasses Tems, who previously held the record with five entries. Wizkid follows closely with four entries, while Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay have one entry each.
Burna Boy is now poised to break South Africa’s Seether’s record as the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries of all time, requiring just one more song to achieve this distinction.
This accomplishment solidifies Burna Boy’s position as a leading force in African music, following his recent recognition as the biggest Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music.
