The Presidential Spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina on Monday disclosed that the President who has just recently returned from Kenya as well as Ethiopia for a meeting of African leaders will travel to London where he will be in attendance at an event in Syria.
A news source has however revealed to news agency, SaharaReporters that the President during his visit to the United Kingdom will also be undertaking a visit to medical doctors in a London Hospital.
The news source further confirmed that the President, Muhammad Buhari agreed to participate in the Syrian event because it provides the perfect cover for his scheduled meeting with the London medical personnel.
According to the source within the Presidency, there had been debates about the medical visit and the perfect cover to throw the nation off scent on the President’s health issues especially since it’s less than a year since he assumed office.
The President is expected to return back to the country next weekend if all goes well after which he will embark on another trip to the Middle East, visiting Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia all between February 28 and March 3, 2016.
