Chairman of Nigerian in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has decried the lack of women representation in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South West geopolitical zone.
She made her position known while reacting to a photo that emerged after the South West leaders of the party met on Friday at the State House, Marina.
Some of those present at the meeting were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; House of Reps Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi; Ogun Governor, Dapo Abiodun; former APC Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande; former Ogun Governors Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun.
Others are Ondo Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu; Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Chief Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, and APC National Secretary, Otunba Iyiola Omisore.
No woman was among the leaders as shown in photos of the meeting that circulated online.
Reacting to one of the photos in a Saturday tweet, Dabiri-Erewa urged the South West APC leaders to “fear God”.
