Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has continued with his relentless criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari who he accused of taking Nigerians for fools.
Recall that the former leader of the country had written a damning letter to the President in which he called his governement a failure and also advised him to stand down in 2019 and not contest as he had nothing to offer the people.
Since then Obasanjo has continued to release barbed statements about the President and he was at it again stating that the fortunes of most Nigerians have taken a turn for the worse in the last three years despite claims to the contrary by Buhari and APC.
He also called for concerted efforts from people to send them packing in 2019.
He made this known while briefing reporters at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Also, the elder statesman also used the opportunity to announce that his Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) has adopted the African Democratic Congress(ADC) with the view of changing the political landscape with 2019 looming.
Obasanjo also urged Nigerians not to fall for the People’s Democratic Party’s call for forgiveness for mismanaging the country while in power.
He called them out as hypocrites who did not deem it fit to discipline its members who for eight years brought woes upon the country through poor governance.
