A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has urged Nigerians to hold President Muhammadu Buhari accountable for the weekend killings in Razat, Ruku, Nyarr, Kura and Gana-Ropp villages of Gashish District in Barkin LGA of Plateau State.
The Plateau State Police Command confirmed that 86 people were killed and six more severely wounded in the attack.

In a series of tweets on Monday morning, Ezekwesili lamented the continued killings across the country despite repeated assurances from the Buhari-led administration.
She tweeted:
Fellow Citizens,
Have you seen some of the pictures &video clips coming out of Jos, Plateau State?
Have you seen our fellow citizens being massacred?
Have WE LOST OUR OUTRAGE AT EVIL?
Has EVIL BECOME OUR NORM?
God FORBIDS.
Our President @MBuhari MUST ACCOUNT FOR THE DEAD.

I got this heartbreaking message from my friend who lives in Jos on the massacre in Plateau:
“Our hearts are heavy and broken over these killings. When will it stop? 201 lives reported lost, are we in a war?”
.@NGRPresident @MBuhari you MUST RESPOND WITH ACTION FOR THEM.
