President Muhammadu Buhari has set new travel guidelines for ministers, among others.
This new rule allows the ministers to travel out of the country only eight times in a year.
This law was implemented in order to ensure efficiency in the management of resources belonging to the government.
This will help to instill financial discipline when it comes to official travels.
This news was disclosed on Monday by the minister of information, culture and tourism, Minister Lai Mohammed.

As from now on, no minister is expected to go on foreign trips more than eight times a year, they are also allowed up to four aides to accompany them on their trips, nothing more than four.
And also, government officials who rank below ministers will be given fewer aides
