The Minster of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has announced the sack of the heads of the six information-related parastatals under the ministry.
Mohammed made this known on Monday during a meeting with the heads of the affected parastatals.
According to him, the affected Chief Executives are Director-Generals of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Sola Omole; Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Ladan Salihu and Voice of Nigeria (VON), Sam Worlu.
The others are: National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mike Omeri; News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ima Niboro and Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Emeka Mba.
Mohammed directed that the disengaged DGs should hand over to the most senior official in their parastatal.
He expressed the government’s gratitude to them for their meritorious service to their fatherland and wished them success in their future endeavours.
