The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari has resumed office after taking some days to rest due to his health challenges.
Recall that the president had earlier in the year traveled to the United Kingdom on a medical vacation which extended for 51 days as against the earlier 10 days he wrote the Nigerian Senate for.
The president who has been working from home and away from the political scene of the country has resumed duty today and swung into action by first meeting with the Attorney General of the Federation and Chief Justice of the Federation, Abubakar Malami in Aso Rock, Abuja.
Following the meeting which was held closed doors, the Attorney General, Abuakar Malami who was reported to be a member of the committee led by the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo to probe the suspended Secretary to the Government Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal and suspended director-general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke, revealed that the report of the probe would be submitted tommorow.
The President, Muhammadu Buhari was also reported to have had a closed door meeting with the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru.
