Buhari Reacts To Killing Of Abuja RCCG Preacher

The Federal Government has finally reacted to the killing of the Abuja preacher,  who was laid to rest today.

Recall that the that the Ekiti-State-born preacher and member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Deaconess Eunice Elisha Olawale was killed some weeks ago in Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Federal Government in reaction to the killing promised that the killers of the preacher will not go unpunished.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, represented by Babachir David Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation declared this at the burial ceremony of the slain preacher.

The burial proceedings was held at the RCCG FCT 2 Provincial Headquarters in Kubwa.

The 42-year-old mother of two was murdered on Saturday, July 9 2016 while preaching in the Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, a satellite town, in the Bwari Area Council.

Lawal said: “As a government, we want to inform you that all the perpetrators of this act
will not go free and will be brought to book. All Nigerians should be safe and free to practice their religion anywhere. Government’s resolve is to fish out the perpetrators. We pray to God not only to forgive them, but pray that the perpetrators seek for repentance. On behalf of the President and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, May God console you”.
